PROJECT ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Monitors the entire project and holds the complete responsibility of the correct and timely execution of the works.

  • Shoulders full responsibility for the execution of works as per anticipated job quality with effective cost control and schedule control which will eventually lead the project to a successful and timely completion.

  • Assists in leading a team of professionals and technical staffs in planning and executing day-to-day operations and liaises effectively with consultants, contractors, nominated subcontractors (NSC) and relevant authorities.

  • Prepares and updates Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) for new project.

  • Assists Project Manager to prepare letters / correspondences.

  • Assists Project Manager in confirming sample/catalogue submissions and all instructions, i.e. Architect’s instructions and/or Engineer’s instructions.

  • Works closely with Contract department to evaluate final claim/final account statement, finalizes account with relevant Consultants.

  • Involves in project planning, monitoring, controlling and reviewing the whole project from planning stage to expiration of defect liability period.

  • Follows company’s internal processes and procedures.

  • Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Possesses at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant fields.

  • 3 to 5 years’ working experience in construction related fields would be added advantages, preferably with Consultants with exposure infrastructure development.

  • Strong administration skill in planning, organizing, coordinating and documenting.

  • Good communication and time management skills.

  • Well verse both spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Building Information Modeling (BIM)3D graphic software and AutoCAD.

QA / QC ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for quality assurance and quality control in all phases of construction project, which interfaces with its multidisciplinary operations.

  • Reviews quality of construction materials at site and ensures compliance with project quality and specifications.

  • Prepares QA/QC documents and performs risk assessment, job safety environmental analysis, site observation, non-compliance report, Inspection Test Plan and other QA/QC task requirements at project site.

  • Plans, coordinates, manages and supervises project teams on the implementation of QA/QC programs and ensures adherence to required standards and procedures.

  • Liaises with project teams, contractors, subcontractors and relevant authorities on quality related matters.

  • Promotes and maintains safe working environment and practices, in compliance with company’s policy and Quality Management System.

  • Complies with health, safety and environmental regulations.

SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensures health, safety and environment system compliance with government regulations and requirements and responsible for the implementation of an effective Occupational safety & Health Management Plan.

  • Ensures effective implementation of HSE procedures and are in conformance to standards.

  • Continuously promotes awareness of project requirements as well as EHS practices throughout the project site and ensures that it is observed and adhered by the site and relevant parties at all times.

  • Takes proactive measures to reduce hazards and prevents possibility of future occurrence of incidences and accidents.

  • Identifies potential risks and recommends practical and cost-effective solutions in safety management.

  • Provides expert advice to Management on all OHS issues and concerns and submits Health, Safety & Environment Monthly Report to the management.

  • Works closely with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, BOMBA etc.) to ensure compliance and updates OSH related issues.

  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the management.

  • Possesses valid license with DOSH (GREEN CARD).

  • At least 2 years working experience in construction related fields would be added advantages.

SITE SUPERVISOR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Monitors, supervises and controls for all labours, materials, machineries, construction activities, etc. to ensure smooth and effective operation for the project.

  • Supervises and evaluates site workers by monitoring employee attendance, review workers, encourage quality performance and discipline personnel wherever it’s necessary.

  • Supervises quality and progress of work and ensures that projects are completed within stipulated period and budgets.

  • Effectives and efficient implementation of project in accordance to drawings, specification, approved PQP and etc.

  • Orders and schedules the delivery of all equipment needed for the project.

  • Examines & verifies material delivered to site prior to unloading.

  • Coordinates with subcontractor works pertaining to project requirements and objectives.

  • Liaises with government agencies, local authorities, subcontractors, clients, suppliers and consultants on the day-to-day affairs.

  • Ensures all staffs and subcontractors adhere to the company’s environmental, safety & health requirements.

  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Possesses at least SPM or Diploma in Civil Engineering or any relevant fields.

  • 2-5 years working experience in administration or construction related fields would be added advantages.

  • Able to understand construction drawings and equip with technical knowledge.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Well verse both spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Good knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Document control of method statement, construction material, on-site inspection report and management of mail sending and receiving account to ensure that the documents are intact, undamaged, convenient and fast for inquiry.

  • Preparation for statistical work of the monthly construction progress meeting report and the monthly project quality report.

  • Regular check for unapproved inspection data and inform the relevant personnel timely.

  • Cooperates with the Contract department in sorting out the documents used for quality survey and ensures that there are no errors and omissions.

  • Cooperates with the QA/QC Manager in the audit. The unqualified documents in the audit should be amended and completed in time.

  • Responsible for classification, collation, identification and management of various documents for project quality system.

  • Responsible for the collation, coding, classification, filing and management of construction inspection information.

ASSISTANT HR MANAGER

Position Available

Major Responsibilities:


  • Assist Group HRA Manager to administer HR policies and procedures, employee recruitment and retention, foreign workers and expatriate’s management as well as employee payroll and benefits.

  • Administering Compensation & Benefits policies with employee handbook and to make revision from time to time in line with the Group and local legislation changes.

  • Managing Company’s training and development activities with the objective to upgrade employees’ skills and ensure they are able to perform efficiently and effectively.

  • To assist in planning and implementing organization development initiatives ie. performance management and goal setting that support formation of desired organizational culture and development needs.

  • Handle staffing issue either by counselling or implementing disciplinary action, termination and other employee related matters.

  • Liaise with all departments on any matters related to HR and provide HR advisory services as and when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Management, Administration or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of working experiences in position of Human Resources.

  • Working experience in Construction company will be an added advantage.

  • Well-versed in Labour laws and prevailing HR practice and legislations

  • Strong interpersonal skills and capable of establishing respect and credibility through actions and communications

  • Analytical with good problem solving and people management skill.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE – PAYROLL & BENEFITS

Position Available

Major Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the company’s payroll administration and benefits management functions.

  • Responsible for overtime payment and leave management to ensure accuracy of payroll data.

  • Develop and strategies employee benefits to retain employee and ensure compliance with the Company’s policies.

  • Administering Compensation & Benefits policies with employee handbook and to make revision from time to time to support the organization needs.

  • Responsible for preparing document or letter of all employee’s movement and records administration into personal file and system.

  • Act as Company representative to liaise with bank, payroll vendor, statutory bodies, insurance company/ third party agent, appointed panel doctor or registered non-panel medical practitioner on matters or queries relating to payroll and employee benefits program.

  • Administering annual performance review, increment exercise and bonus payment.

  • Liaise with all departments on any matters related to HR and provide HR advisory services.

  • Monitor and administer staff medical expenses and staff claim reimbursement to ensure that the expenses are within their pre-set maximum and established policies.

  • Assist the HR Manager in handling disciplinary issues in the event any employees violate company rules and regulations and manage grievances or complaints from employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Management, Administration or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in Human Resources related field.  Payroll experience would be an added advantage.

  • Working experience in Construction company will be an added advantage.

  • Well-versed in Labour laws and prevailing HR practice and legislations

  • Strong administration skills – planning/organizing/coordination & documentation.

  • Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently.
